What does it mean to get a rating of 500 or more? How does one know when they have reached such a rating? Is this by how many posts one makes? If so, I have a lot of posting to do. :) Where do you find out your rating and what does it mean?

The number next to your name hannahjomommy (230) is your rating its the number of posts and responses you have done when you get to 500 you will be able to copy and paste in your posts and resonses I hope this answers your question and good luck to you on reaching 500!

500 is just the number of posts one has, and all that means is that the poster can copy and paste in their discussions. To find out your rating, put your cursor over the star by your name, and it should say a number between 1 and 10. : )

spam - No more spam.
There are two numbers you want to be aware of:1. the number and color of the star above your name... that is how much people like/trust your answers 8-good 9-great 10-fantastic. 2. the number beside your name[hannahjomommy (244)

yes this means the number you can see beside your ID I'm not sure if counts responses or does it involve comments and discussions you started also. but after this number reaches 500 you can copy and paste.

Its right next to your username. In the parenthesis is a number. Thats your rating. How many responses you have posted. Your response will rise for the first valid response you post in a discussion including the ones you start. Responses only count once per discussion so if you post multiple times in the same discussion the count will not rise. Also, if a response breaks rules or if you respond to a discussion and it gets deleted, your rating will decrease. Example. Theprogamer(9999) "Okay that's not the real count, but this is a sample" This would indicate I have 9999 valid responses do discussions on mylot. Of course the number could actually be higher since some chain posting/responding occurs in various topics.
