Lemon is always a FRUIT! It is not at all a vegetable. But it is sold in the vegetable market and usually we purchase it with purchase of vegetables. It can never be confused as vegetable! Thanks for this nice topic!

Leamon is only a fruit.. because It doen't have any of the quality of the Vegetables.. We can use the Lemon for -- Prepare the Juice and drink -- Use the Lemon's Juice for preparing the "Rasam" (this is also a dish like Sambar) -- Prepare the Pickle by using the Lemon I have not found in any way we are using the Lemon as vegetables.. like potato, beans, onion, okra or others. So, I strongly say that lemon is only the Fruit, its not a Vegetable..
