I know mass species is feasible-Scientists say with authority that 65 million years ago when an asteroid hit the earth-it took nearly 30 million years for the earth to recover its lost species-all the sea creatures died, the dinosours never showed up again on earth and some birds also just got extinct-Is an asteroid the main awaited cause of mass extinction and mass species death and indeed, the awaited end of world?

Either an asteroid or a comet of sufficient size would destroy all higher life forms if it struck the earth. That estimation is valid. We know it is because some years ago scientists got to watch a comet hit Jupiter. They were able by observing the impact to estimate the damage to earth if something similar happened here. We would all die.

I still remember the CNN clips of that collision.-the impact would probably leave nothing alive, so earth still have the higher life forms because no commet or asteroid has hit us yet? I see that and I can only pray because who knows when the wild bouldrs would head to earth?
