Running/ Jogging/ Walking - Great way to keep Fit.

I am sure the best form of exercising is Running/Jogging or Walking, It keeps you fit and in good shape. Tell me what do you do keep yourself in shape.

i do exercise almost every other day, so to help my muscles regenerate every other day, i usually start with cardio by skipping rope (its twice the effect of running) then stretching then weights

Warming up and stretching is an integral part of the exercise routine.. and is important.. You seem to be an extremely fit person.. tell me your exercise routine..

I lift weights, run a lot. and walk all the time. But I am getting to the point where I can't keel still, I have to move all the time. its weird.

Buddy.. it seems you cant just stay still.... would you mind sharing how long have you been exercising.. and it is a wonderful way to keep you occupied.. and i hope you are not working at a place where you have to be seated for hours...

I mostly just walk, with some stretching, etc., but I'm "older," and haven't exercised as much as I should in quite awhile. I'm just now getting back into it. Walking is safe for old bones and muscles and it really helps.

Thats the right way to get into a routine and since your age doesn't allow you to do running and jogging, then Walking is best.. just increase your pace cautiously.

I lift weights, and mix in some cardio - usually on the bike. Sometimes i go for a 2 mile jog around the neighborhood on my non-lifting days.. I am actually in better shape at 37 than i was at 18.

Thats a wonderful schedule for keeping fit.... cardio really keeps you fit.. and lemme congratulate you on achieving all this.

I agree with you that Running/Jogging or Walking is the best form of exercise. And doing it is free, you don't need any machine to run or walk or jog, just a flat surface to run or walk on. I also try to mix some weights with my exercise routine and usually i try to be active as possible with any sport I like, and in my case martial arts and boxing.
