This discussion comes to you from my daughter (A. Rose) nope the melatonin has not yet kicked in, heh. okay - Rose would like to know, what do you like to collect and what has inspired you towards that collection? She collects little porcelain animals that have the fury stuff on their tails or ears or whatever. marble, glass, or real eggs... real eggs? they've been blown and decorated in fancy paper - or covered in colorful baked clay... the animals started when someone at an auction we went to gifted her with one they had from a lot they purchased... I think these figurines are from the 1920's thru the 50's the eggs started after finding one at a garage sale and then a while later another - and you know once you have two of something there is a collection started.

I collect bells, and have for over 30 years. It was strange how I started, I had just joined the US Navy and was going to be doing a lot of traveling so wanted to collect something - I decided to collect spoons, easy to transport, small, not fragile. On a trip to Canada I purchased a spoon but saw a bell I just feel in love with. In Florida another spoon but also another bell, in California a spoon and a bell. In Virginia - a bell, it wasn't until my daughter started collecting spoons that I ever purchased another spoon but now have over 300 bells.
