Have you ever encountered an event in your life that its seems it has happened before? Its like a rewind of an event and when you ponder on it, it feels like you have done this things before, you have visited this place before, or you have met this person before even if that was the first encounter. I have experienced it a couple of times and sometimes I wonder maybe I have reincarnated and during my previous life I was there. Have you experience this kind of event?

I think this happens to everyone, I read in a book once that before we are born we are shown a flash of the life we about to embark on and when we get this feeling we get a feeling we have done this before, this book said that when we get that feeling it means we are where we are meant to be .... interesting concept....

I agree with you, this happens to everyone. Although some people would experience it more often compared to others, the point is it happens. I have not read the book but is interested to read it. Could you perhaps provide me the title if you can still recall. Thanks!

Yes they all seem to have had very much the same experiences but the book I liked the most the woman concerned did actually reach a point where she asked questions and some of the questions were why things happen, it is a very good book.

Wow! Sounds very interesting. Did it elaborate what questions where asked and what answers were given?

Lots of times, sure. I use to meet people seven years earlier in my dreams before would actually meet them; it was kinda creepy once I learned that everybody did not have that ability. I could tell them what their name was before they said, and recite, word-for-word everything they were saying to me or people around me. When I learned this was not normal, I prayed very hard for God to take away my gift because it scared people and some even feared I was a witch. The gift has been subsued greatly but comes back clearly in times of need. Still cannot explain why it happens but I do not think I have been reincarnated.

What you have most likely is a gift that is worth developing. Its not normal but we heard about people seeing some events in the future and helping people prevent accidents or making the right decision when the time comes. I don't think you are a witch if assuming we meet and you will tell me in advance whats in my mind or perhaps what I'm gonna say. Matter of fact, I would be very much impressed. I guess you should embrace that gift and somehow find a way to put it to better use. There must be a reason why that gift is given to you.

I have been told that I am a "Seer" as in days of old and that I should embrace the gift. I am surrendering myself as I get older and just accepting the fact that I can supress it but it will never go completely away. Now my daughter has experienced the same trait; I have to talk about it now so I can guide her through her events so she will be prepare for what is to come. I do not want her to be made to feel as if she is a freak. I found later that I come from a long line on "Seers" on my mother's side. I still find the whole situation very strange.

That is really interesting. I'm sure with your guidance it would not be a freaking experience for your daughter. I hope that it will be a great advantage for her. Inf fact, as I have said earlier it could be develop to help other people and perhaps save lives. This is the very first time I've heard about seers. Well, don't ever think its a freaky thing.... consider it a talent. Wish I had it.

I have experienced deja vus several times before. the event would be so familiar that I would be convinced that it has happened before. but no matter how I think about it, I can't remember anything. but I don't think that its an event from a past life and that I am living a reincarnated life. I believe some deja vus I have experienced happened to me before but I just can't exactly remember when, and some deja vus might be event that I have dreamt of. ^__^

Yup, I think its just a product of our mind like maybe perhaps as what rarimallion have explained the brain processing the same thing twice and fast making it appear that it happened before.

I don't know if technically deja vu, but I once had a dream that I would play guitar on stage at my favourite bar, except none of my friends would be there to see me because they were downstairs. A few months later, after forgetting the dream, it actually happened. Though thank God no-one saw 'cause I was terrible. I keep a dream diary & it hasn't happened since, was quite weird though. Well maybe I guess although I am not sure, that you being a guitar player have always envisioned to perform to an audience. Because of that, it might have resulted to dreaming of performing on stage. Just like something that we really wanted so much sometimes we dream of it. And obviously because of our dream and aspiration, we end up fulfilling that dream. Well anyway, I am guitar player myself but not that professional. Goodluck to you and develop your skill more so that you can have more of the dreams that come true!

I think most of us experienced it. we slept and dream. . dream's that you think are illogical or absurd. . sometimes, our dreams are telling us what will happen next to our life. . maybe, it's quite scary because we can't tell what will it be. .

I agree. Regarding dreams i think it just our subconscious mind that is working while we are sleeping. I haven't not gone to any person whom they say can interpret dreams. Although some people often use dreams to guide there actions. However, I prefer not to know since knowing something would take away the element of surprise.

I have had dejavu several times in my life. Sometimes it feels as if it just hasn't happened once but several times. It stinks that I have no clue where it comes from and no way to explain it.

Well, reading from the explanation and answers from everyone, we could probably see that we are not alone and that its just probably normal for everyone.

Yes I get it quite often. Scientists have done research on it, and although it's fun to speculate it's some kind of psychic ability or something to do with reincarnation, it's not. It's the brain processing things incorrectly; it processes the situation twice instead of once. This all happens in a split second. But we get the feeling that this has already happened b/c technically we DID already think it...a split second ago. It really is a weird feeling though!

Wow, that's a very precise and scientific answer. I though agree its a bit weird and sometimes it may lead us to wonder that it could be something like reincarnation. However, with such results from a scientific study, I think it is very much credible. Thanks!

Through out my life I've had conversations with people and have sworn to have had them before in the same setting. For example while speaking with my roommate about a house hold expense I smell bacon and then feel as if this exact moment has happened before. Personally I don't have a theory about it but I do think it is pretty neat!
