Does anyone interfere in your relationship?

I hate when people try and interfere in relationships,isnt it annoying?I think once you at an appropriate age you should be able to make decisions for yourself and be prepared to accept the consequences whatever they be.My mother always told me and my brother if you make your bed had you are going to sleep in it hard.How do you handle it when people try and interfere in your relationships?

If it's a friend who tries to interfere, I will listen but that's where the bus stops. I'm old enough to make my own decisions and have been married a long time. I know what works and what doesn't when it involves my marriage. Our kids don't offer suggestions but if they did, I would definitely listen and make an attempt to do as they suggest.

My dad is the one who tries to interfere in my relationships. He always threatens the guy I am with that he will find him if he hurts me. My main problem with this is my dad has been seeing a woman off and on for the last 9 years who runs off on him to be with someone else. He tells me not to do this with the boyfriend but doesn't listen to his own advice.

Most of the time, I can't even tell my dad what's going on in my relationship if something went down because he will just automatically not like him or act differently around him and it won't even be that big of a deal!

Not very many people try to interfere in my relationship but I do have a friend that oversteps her bounds every now and again. When she starts I just tell her to back off, its my relationship not yours. Since I married him 2 years ago and had a baby with him, and another on the way she has slacked off quite a bit on trying to tell me what to do
