What do you guys think of LUSH?

Well, at first, I loved it. I'm a biologist and all for the natural and handmade, but GOD, it's not that good. I'm so disappointed. It's not cheap, and they claim to be unique and the best but unique, maybe, but best? I mean, I like the idea, but make products that work well. I'm talking mostly about skincare products because I like their shampoos and body lotions- they are lovely. They also smell nice, but hmm, I would rather spend money on the ones that work. I seem like the only oddball that is not crazy with lush. I don't hate lush, but I'm not crazy with it. I would go for other brands that work better. What do you guys think?

Personally I love Lush. I became a big fan off Lush about two years ago and was hooked. About a year ago now we got a Lush store in my hometown which I was super excited about. There are lots of products I don't really like. Some of the bath bombs smell yucky, or have no scent at all. Most of the massage bar scents are gross, even though the bars themselves are fantastic. And some things I'm just all around blah about. But I've found that the things that Lush does well, they do really well. I love there Ocean Salt face and body scrub, as I have mentioned in previous posts. I smell like margaritas for a long time, it's great. I also really like there Cupcake biofresh mask. There is something kind of refreshing about a facemask that you have to use up in three weeks or else it goes bad. Plus I smell like chocolate and mint ALL DAY LONG and the boyfriend won't keep his hands of me ;-)

Cupcake really is amazing. I wish there were a store in my town so I could always have that mask for a certain time of month...

I personally love lush. I think their skin care products are great. I have a problem with dry skin and their moisturizers are great. I also get break outs once in a while and I love their fresh face masks. I love their solid shampoos. Their bath bombs are some of the best and most interesting I've used. I think they tend to use a little too much lemon in their products but other than that I think they are great, and they help the environment.

I am a huge lushie, now that I've gone silicone-free I refuse to use anything else in my hair, and their skincare has had miraculous effects on my combination skin. That said, nobody will like all of their products. There are lots of lush bath bombs and bubble bars I can't stand the smells of, and I went through a lot of cleansers and moisturizers I hated before I found the right ones for me. Once I found the right products that work for me, there's no turning back, I'll never go back to other skincare brands. Good luck finding something that works this well for you!

acne, bad skin, angels on bare skin, lush - my skin before I started using Angels on Bare Skin by Lush
the skincare isn't that good?my skin used to be like this. after it being like that for ten years, and trying everything, including from the doctor, I tried one of their cleansers and it cleared up in a few weeks. my avatar pic shows what it's like now. the skincare is fantastic stuff. I'd never use anything else now.

I love Lush, not just their products but also what they stand for as a company. Not only do they only use products not tested on animals they also only do business with those who follow the same policy (in all of their products). I like how thoughtful Lush is about packaging and give tips about reducing your carbon footprint. In relation to what you say about skincare, my skin has never looked as good as it does since I discovered Lush. Have you tried many products from Lush? I use Coalface and not only does it last forever but it also balance my skin out. I rarely get spots now. My lotion of choice is Imperialis which is also beautiful on my skin. I've tried several products over the years from the high street and Lush beat them all hands down. I am sorry that you haven't found the right product for you. Ah well it would be a boring life if we all liked the same things!

I use LUSH products from time to time and like you said, I am not really crazy about it either. There are a few items I love in LUSH like shampoo bars and their deep cleansing face mask and facial cleanser but other than that I am not a big fan. Sometimes I get bored with using their products and I would change to another brand.
