I signed up with gmail a month or so ago, and I LOVE it! I thought I would get a lot of scam, but guess what? I don't. I mean I get some but not like I did when I used msn, hotmail, yahoo, and charter. My mom pays for charter mail, and I think gmail is so much better then charter. You never have to worry about your mail box filling up with gmail, and you have a chat box on there so there is no need to download a messenger!

I've never even heard of charter mail and I get around the internet pretty well! I think the problem is that people are fixiated on the thought that if whatever the service or item costs money, or costs more then another item that whatever item in question that costs more must be better! It's kind of a silly thing, but I honestly think that's how it is! Yeah, i've never had trouble finding any emails that I actually look forward to every day, it's wonderful! That little ol' messenger inside the email is pretty convenient as well, :)

Yep! As long as you only keep the email to you and your friends and maybe a few jobs you might be applying for, you'll almost never get spam emails! Keep on enjoying gmail, :P

Yup, I am using gmail as my primary email too and I quite love it.
At least until recently when they changed to their "BETTER" version 2. It is SLOWER than the past and I have many people tell me the same.
Ok it is not that slow so I am just trying to be picky here.:P
Gmail search is the one area I think it needs work in and it is so slow for certain words.
But yes, I think gmail is still the best overall. Besides it is free so I really shouldn't gripe.

I have been using gmail for about a week now and I like it alot better than yahoo. I do get some spam messages, but gmail sorts them automatically into a seperate file, which is easily deleted. I have never used hotmail, but as long as I have gmail, I don't forsee myself needing to use it. Plenty of space, easy to use, and its free..great.

Gmail on my opinion, is the best you can get at the moment between the free services, and even one's that cost! Gmail is definitely the #1 solution at the moment, I do feel as though there could be better ones but Gmail is handling things pretttyy well right now and i'm sure when other problems arise Gmail will adjust and still stay #1 =D

What I personally enjoy about Gmail as a whole, is that you have a Spam protection button on there, and do not have to ever worry about anything getting past there. It is wonderful compared to a lot of other sites out there, including my own personal ISP. A lot of sites I personally feel could learn something from Gmail and incorporate it into their system and Email.

I love Gmail. Yes, I get almost no spam. I have used other services including Yahoo, but with Yahoo, I was inundated with Spam. I like the search function with Gmail. I like the labeling concept, which makes for more order. I can keep all email conversations together in one package, under a label I give it. I really like that. There is so much more I can do. I really feel good with the appearance as well. I often check my Gmail account from my Treo 700w.

I prefer gmail. I also have yahoo but I rarely use it, I only use the account for mybloglog integration and the yahoo messenger. gmail is fast in loading, I believe, and I can use the pop and smtp too. and the spam ... well, gmail is quite smart in handling spams. I think gmail is excellent for free service that provides pop and smtp access.
