does booking official wedding stuff make you feel like a grown up?

I usually feel quite young and immature. after having booked the venue, and this morning the registrar, I feel like a bit of a proper grown up. hehe.

What you're saying makes a lot of sense. Unfortunately I've had way too much happen in my life over the past few years, to feel even a little bit immature. A few of my relatives are being the immature ones, and driving me nuts, so I'm making the wedding as inexpensive and SMALL as possible, so as not to cause more drama.

Me and my fiance are in the planning stage of our wedding, and I do feel rather mature and grown up, because there is a lot of responsibility when it comes to planning a wedding, especially since we want it to be perfect.

Well I guess it depends. If you're working as an events coordinator you'll be booking a lot of wedding right? But that does not mean that everytime the coornidator books for something she's getting older. I'm 28 years old. 2 years from now I will turn 30 but still I love playing computer games, reading teen magazines and eating chocolate cakes and ice cream. Does that make me immature? I guess not. I haven't booked anyone for some wedding but I do hope to get married before I turned 30.
