I´ve been playing videogames since I were inside my mothers belly, and there were some who took months and months straight. Breath of Fire III were the longest: It took me more than 100 hours to finish all of the quests. how about you, how long did it last the game you have most played in your whole life?

I am not much of a game player anymore....but if you want a game that will take you a long time to beat...trying buying any zelda game those games are so confusing and hard to figure out(figure out what to do and how to do it and what time to do it)those games would keep me busy for a few months at a time and that was each game...I really think that those are the games that are well worth the money that you pay for them...I use to could spend hours straght playing those games and it still took me months to beat them!

yeah. i've played two version of Zelda already, and I agree that it is really hard to figure out what to do next on them. If ever have the opportunity, try playeng Final Fantasy 12. That game will really take your time. I'm already at 97 hours of playing and haven't collected everything that is to be collected. Really nice game.

Yeah, except that if you open certain chests you miss the master weapon. It's annoying to figure out what is and isn't safe to open.

FF7 took me so long the little counter wouldn't go any higher... but I'm an EXP fiend and will spend hours and hours on side quests... outside of RPGs... (and ignoring the days before memory cards!) Soul Calibur 3 is taking me forever to do everything because of the stupid memory card glitch. Shenmue took me a good long time to complete, though I guess that comes under RPG in a way. FF12 is shaping up to be a looooong game!

Boy ah.. Dragon Warrior IV took me around 100 hours to beat. FF9 took a while, I was addicted to the card game. I'm certain there are others too, as I tend to forget what I've played, and for how long.

lol, the card game was addictive. Was it 8 or 9 that had the game with no rules? Or at least I couldn't figure out the rules properly... still, I went around asking EVERYONE to play. Have you played Chocobo Tales? (yes, yes I am a big girl! I just love the fuzzy cuteness of it) The card game in that, while very basic is highly addictive. I found it a lot of fun.
