I am now in one of the upswing of the viral fever. When you catch the viral fever, the temperature comes and goes till the whole cycle pans out and you recover. I was so healthy and strong and was carrying out my spring cleaning in preparation for the Chinese New Year round the corner. I suspect that I caught this viral fever bug from a colleague of mine. I really don't understand this. My colleague caught the viral fever a few weeks back. We did not meet for the whole week after he recovered and came back to the office. Then all we did was talk, discussion about work. Two days later, I got the fever. And it has been like that since the four days ago. Man, this is really a torturing ordeal. It makes me wonder, if it is a viral fever, how does it spread? How does one prevent it from being spread to others?

I heard that its spread through air. But sometimes its not true in my experience. There may be some sources also.

Hi ahgong, It is very difficult to prevent a viral disease they spread through air. Prevention is only through vaccines. For those viruses that are proving fatal and serious injuries to organs, there are vaccines available like polio and hepatitis B. Since we cannot isolate a specific area of this virus it is adviced to have a vaccine. General cold is also caused by virus(except in allergic cold) but this virus is not dangerous and remember that virus cannot be killed by a medicine, they die by themself. The medicines are given only for the agony created by the virus. There is no escape for any person however strong he is from these types of virus. We have to be on medicine till the virus die itself. Good Luck.
