My favourite name for a dog is max because it's simple and when you shout it's name it can understand it easier

It depends on the breed. I don't have dogs myself, but I imagined owning various breeds and what I'd name them, such as: border collie (Bob or Jasmine), West Highland terrier (Joey or Betsy), German shepherd (Ace or Xoxo [pronounced "sho-sho"]) and Great Dane (Duke or Duchess.)

I currently have 7 dogs. Each name fits the dog. I don't really think I have a favorite name, but here they are: Zoe (golden retriever - my daughter named her) Maggie (yorkie) Millie and Woody (twin terriers of some sort, they are short and long) Opal (a white boxer) Danny is a black mutt with a curly tail, and Penny is a busy body, bossy little black dog we got from New Orleans after Katrina. The dogs no longer with us are Mike (fits, like a big dumb jock) Major (a military looking large mutt terrier) Betty was a Big Eyed Shizsu, Bentley was a yorkie, Barney was a very gently large something mix, Buddy was a mix of cocker and afghan.......Oh, Ebony and Tina were both black labs...........I like all of those names :)
