Judging from the quality of my posts, and the fact that the more I post the better quality my posts become.. I figure i'll reach payout somewhere between 470-560ish posts.. what about you? When did you reach your payout, orr! What was your post count when you did? :P I know, a lot of you probably dont remember but maybe you can post a rough idea of the amount!

It was such a long time ago and I didn't pay much attention to it... I guess it was somewhere between 350 and 450 posts. I joined myLot on November 12, 2006 and I got my first payment on December 15, 2006 ($13.00). I was posting like crazy that time, because I wanted to see if myLot really pays. I'm still here and that's the best proof that it pays :)

Wow! I am in the 570's or 580's and I am still at $4.11! I don't think that I will ever reach payout. I have been a member for over a year and have never reached payout. Congratulations to all you my lotters who get paid. Guess I will have to work on the quality of my posts. I don't have any referrals and I know that this is one reason that I don't make any money on here.

If you are referring to the number which appears next to your name on the discussions (that ever changing number next to your name?) that is not a count of the number of posts that you have submitted, that number places you in a numerical ranking system that uses number of posts, level of participation activity, and other variables into account to rank you as a member. The higher the number the longer you have been around here and the more posts and responses that you have created. Remeber it is not just the posting or positing of a discussion that earns you money on the site. It is also the amount of interracting that you do with responding to other people's discussions.

I'm at 4.04$ and soon about 4.20$ish when I get on tomorrow, I guess Mylot must consider my posts really really awesome, eh? haha :O When you reach your payout, just take screenshots of your payout and show them off to your friends & i'm sure once you prove to them that you get real money, and prove to others you get real money, your referrals will start flowing in! G'luck! =D

You are obviously a statistician much like myself. There really is no way for you to tell nby averaging the results of the user responses tha you get because you can never be certain that our participation levels or quality of discussions progressed along the same evolutionary path as your own. Also the amount that we are paid for participation is also dependant upon the amount of activity over the entire network not just your own efforts. Also the amount that myLot used to pay us when there were only 50,000 members, was much higher than the amount that they pay out because of the increased activity on the network. However in respose to your question I was between 360-420 posts. But as earnings are updated only once a day and I was posting 10-20 or more posts a day, with varying results and responses so I could not be any more exact than that. I will also say that at the current rate of pay and the current community activity that your estimate of where you may cross the line to reach that minimum cashin amount of ten dollars is probably fairly accurate.

When I reached payout the first time MyLot was paying more. I think you are right on target with your ballpark range. Of course you will make more than just payout this month, as it will be the carryover from January, plus whatever you earn in February. Good luck and good posting. You have accurate observtions about the quality of posts.

It may not be a lot of money, but it is real, and it spends. You also can make important contacts here, and learn about other paying opportunities. Perhaps you will be able to refer your friends.

I was around seven hundred posts at my payout. It took me awhile to figure out the system, a lot of junk posts. In the beginning, I did a lot of one liners until I learned better. I also had a lot of deletions. Now, I respond to less discussions, but earn more.

Oy! It feels like it's going to take about a zillion years to get to payout. Of course, I sort of sabotaged myself by going inactive for an extended period of time and lost maybe about .40 or so. That's definitely going to put me behind quite a bit more on how soon I'll make the $10 again. But I'd like to think if I'd stuck with it, I would have been able to reach payout by somewhere around the 600ish mark.

Until now I still did not reach the minimum payout yet. Maybe because I am not really that active in the discussions or did not active starting discussions myself. I don't know why. Still waiting and trying to achieve $10 now. :(

As you write you become better. I have been freelancing for 3 months and my spelling and grammar have both become better as well as my typing. Thus why I can multi task as I do. I do it for my work all the time. Let me know when you reach pay out. Aingelicia

I make an average of 10 cents a day on mylot so it will take a while before I reach the payout :) I am just a little impatient for that!

I am new but I think I will make payout around 500 post. I am not posting a lot of post or responses each day. I am going to do my best to make at least 10 post a day going foward!! I know I can make pay out if I work hard everyones post are encouraging so I know it is not impossible.

I'm still new at this myLot thing and don't know how long it will take for me to reach my first payout. I was wondering how much could we earn if we dedicted a full part time writng over here. How much could we make at the end of the day? How many posts would we able to post? My record was 20 in a day. After that, I have gotten really tired of it. My brain were hurting...
