I don't normally watch television. I have two tv shows that I like to watch but I usually watch them on my computer rather than suffer through all of the commercials. I can save 15-20 minutes watching the same 1 hr show by watching it on line. I haven't sat in front of the tv to watch anything but movies in quite a long time, and the reason that I do watch movies on tv is that my bf bought a DV... |

My mother used to always tell me when I was younger that if you are not part of the solution that you must be a part of the problem. I sometimes do not see things as light and darkly as she does. I do however believe that if you are not taking steps towards solutions in your life that you will continue to live in your problems and that as long as you are living in, lamenting, and counting your ... |

I remember when I was 13 my mother spiralled into a dark and deep depression over turning 35 years old. She said that 35 was the begining of the end because if life expectancy is 70 years then 35 is exactly middle aged. Well on Saturday Oct 24th I turned 35. I waited for the realization and the depression to set in, but they haven't. Not even with the economy giving most of the country reasons ... |

What is your main philosophy on life? What is it that you believe that makes life bearable and even imparts perspective and help brings you to acceptance of life and situations on life's terms? For me my personal philosophies are fairly simple and to the point. Like the hippocratic oath the first part of my Philosophy is "First do no (intentional) harm."
The second part is "Take responsi... |

As with any relationship there is sometimes misunderstandings and there can be too much togetherness when you both live and work at home in a tiny little house, but with anybody else we would be at each others's throats by now, just tired of always being around one another. With G it is not a duty, or a prison to always be home with him. We know how to give each other space and we read each oth... |

Depending on what you are watching TV, time spent watching TV can also be rewarding and useful. Every once in a while there is some useful information that you can use that gets aired every once in a great while. However use of your computer is interactive and causes the brain to continue functioning and hitting on all cylinders instead of going into stand by like it does while one is at rest w... |

Most women have issues with their adult daughters and/or daughters in law ordinarily it has more to do with personality conflicts and with us holding them up to the yardstick of our generations, and the only girls that tend to make the grade with Mom are the ones who either agree with everything you say or who are just good solid, salt-of-the-earth type people with whom you can find no fault.

Well most of the time I would say that I rarely get "pumped" about anything but although it didn't seem as though it was possible for it to be anything but poor, boring, and run of the mill. I started getting pumped about it about 3 days b4 and by my b-day I truly was pumoped. I sat on my butt, I went to dinner, and I managed to make enough money to buy every single thing that I had been wantin... |
