I attended a play last night with my sisters at a University not too far from here. The actors did a very good job and made a little money for their arts department. The play was okay ...even though the script won a Tony I don't think I would chose to see it again. Do you take advantage of plays and other cultural events that are in your area? What was the last event you attended?

A year or so my sister, nephew and I saw an art exhibit at a museum.It was Cezanne if i remembering correctly.It was nice. Back in the day my mom and I would go to almost all the free concerts during the summer. It was before we had real hazy hot summers.

If you like museums and historical things, you should come visit Washington D.C.You would love it.

my daughter attends a performing arts school,and drama is her main subject.so we are often attending plays to do with her school etc.also her friends are singers and they all perform in starstruck which is over 100 different schools get together and perform and sing at the entertainment centre.so we are very much involved in plays and performances.the last thing we attended was australian idol as her best friend made it into the top 12.cheers sue

i'm not really active with community events because there's no one to watch it with and i don't have many friends here in our place. my few friends would either be busy just like me or out of town. the last event that i saw with a friend was last, last year during our BaƱamos festival when we watched a battle of the band and a dance competition. i wasn't able to watch any event last year during the festival because i was always out of town. ^__^;;
there's also a University here that holds plays and stuff but i think they are only popular to students who really need to watch it for the sake of their studies. LOL
