wow, this just blows my mind. i really feel like weight prejudice is one of the last forms of discrimination that isn't looked down upon at all. if people are so keen to make legislation that will make us healthier, how about the government gets out of bed with the corn lobby and stops the addition of high fructose corn syrup to practically every processed food on the market??

So what about the fat people who are not near their homes, do they just go to the stores and pick up packages of chips? They probably do not have healthy food at home and there is the telly. It seems like this is confounding the problem. Why don't they give restaurants discounts on their taxes or charges if they offer healthy alternatives such as low calorie, low carb, or diabetic menus? Not letting obese people eat at restaurants is discrimination.

Wow! That is amazing! It wasn't right years ago when we banned people of color...now someone is trying to put this forward? Just crazy!

So now we are going to discriminate against fat people? So fat people can't eat out anymore? where's the logic in that? Everyone as American's are equal or so I thought. That's like saying your too thin to be here.

This is ridiclous. The State can't discriminate against people who are obese. Some of them can't even help it, due to genes, medical conditions, medication, etc. How appalling that legislators would attempt to go that far.
