I Love A Rainy Night

Love the rain, always have. It started raining here too last night, with thunder and lightning thrown in for good measure. The only think I don't like is having to hop on my bike and ride in the cold rain, like I'm going to have to do shortly. Have a doc's appt. and I've gotta keep it. So, nothing to do but pull up that hood, pedal my legs off, and get wet. Last weekend, on Saturday, it was 73 degrees at noon. By 5ish that night, it was below freezing, with winds gusting at 54 mph! Then Sunday, we got 8 plus inches of snow. Geez! Yesterday, it was in the high 50s and the snow was finally starting to melt. Today, it's still raining and chilly. I don't know whether to shite or go swimming. Gotta love that Midwest. But, I'm off to the shower, and no, I'm not gonna get smutty right now. I'm saving that for later. Or for others to do for me till I get back. Oh, then it's off to vote!!!! So, till this afternoon, keep the fires burning and don't let the bas tards get our Loungy down! Make sure he knows we're at our posts, ready for action and loaded for bear. :)

For me it's light rain. Nothing more peaceful than listening to the soft shower of water hitting the roof. It's a good sound to go to sleep by. A dark and dreary rainy day kinda sad. And storms with thunder generally bring my daughter running into the bedroom. That means no sleep for all, most of the time.

I'm totally fine with the rain I love playing in it but I have problems when it thunders and lightening's out.See when I was 5 right before my 6th birthday my mom and I got in a major car accident the sound of the car hitting the telephone pole reminds me of thunder and when I came to there was a bright flash before my eyes adjusted to see the flames from the hood of the vehicle to the top of the telephone pole. So I love rain just not the thunder and lightening.

I love the rain. When it's cold outside it gives you a reason to sit by your hunnie and cuddle up, listening to it hit the roof. When it's warmer outside I usually throw on some shorts and a t-shirt to go play with the kids in it. It makes me feel like a kid again. If the kids are at school and he's at work, I usually take the baby outside when it's warm enough and cuddle up in the rocking chair just listening to it hit the pavement. After the rain is done it smells so nice outside.

I do like the rain sometimes but I really like it to rain at night because it helps me sleep better and its more relaxing...but I dont like it whenever it rains in the daytime becaue I like to get out alot and find things to do...but in the long run it is probably a better thing whenever it does rain in the daytime becaues then I will get to stay in and get my work done and try and catch up on somethings that i really need to get done...so i would have to say that i like it whenever it rains either in the day or night!

I love the rain too just not when it's really cold to boot.

ohh mee too! its raining now and we got soem thunder as well and i love it!!this summer i want to build an outisde deck with walls..like an awning? ithink its called..u know what i mean.i could be outside watchign the rain and not get wet lol..its 5am bare with me lol..especially in teh summer and u see the beautiful rainbows ..ahhh i love it!! lol!!bring it on!

I love rainy nights....and I love to watch from my balcony when it's raining. Besides playing with my kids in the rain, I prefer staying indoors and watching it rain. I don't like it if I have to run an errand in the rain. I like it better if my husband is with me to watch the rain...or better still if we could have a walk in the rain under an umbrella he hardly gets time for anything like this nowadays:(

Only a few times do I feel down from the rain. Most other times I like it. I like watching it, I like walking in it. Even sitting on the porch or lawn chair and watching it is fine by me too. Something about it is rather enticing in my view, and calming.

I wouldn't say I love it or hate it. I'm indifferent. I lived in Seattle for 6 years and so I guess I'm used to it. I much prefer a hot sweaty summer day...for some lovin..I love spring and summer most of all.. Then again I'd take it whenever.

When I was young, I liked playing when it rained. Running around with other kids. I love rain at night. It's nice to sleep. Rain in daytime is another story especially when I need to go outside. It is not nice at all.

Yes, Day or night are always filled with rainy moments.

i love raining too i also try to enjoy it vry much esspacially in summers otherwise in winters i can saw it just from windows or standing under the shelter n thats it but its reallyy kkOOLL

wow i remebr when i was young,the only thing i hate dwas the rain.i hate it so much.it stop us from doing all kinds of play.so in the night no mater how sweet the rain is,in still feel bad that it stops me from playing in the evening
