New York Witches or Wiccans...

United States

After ten years of practicing solitary, I have finally decided that I am ready to join a coven. I have practiced in open circles and such. The hard part is finding one. Is there anyone on here who lives in New York City and would like discuss starting a coven? Or, do you know of any that are accepting membership?

Yes. I've been looking on there periodically, but it seems that some of the information on there is outdated. I tried to do to some of the coven web links, but they don't work. I guess I will continue searching. Something will come my why.

Go to witchvox.com and look up people in your area. Another place is to go to the new age stores and the pagan stores in your area. They are always organizing get togethers with open circles. Through them you can meet others. You don't want to jump into any coven. Be selective and watch their activities before participating. Find the one that is close to your beliefs. Good luck

i'm in NY but nowhere near NYC....I'm also Pagan but NOT Wiccan and have never had any desire to join a coven myself BUT I can offer up some suggestions for you :-D....Have you checked Witchvox? also maybe talking to someone at the next open circle or a local store that you are familiar with maybe OR if you do Pagan Pride ask around etc etc...I'd figure that in NYC there has to be plenty just because its such a huge place ya know..... Good luck in finding what you are looking for :-D

I am a solitary witch myself but I live far from you..You can find covens on the internet in your location..Witchcraft is as modern and open as it can be on this new era...You will find one in the internet but you must attend it first and see and feel if you belong or not. Blessed be..
