Hi, for me I still prefer to use cash on my daily expenses over my credit card. so far I have only used my credit card when I buy something from the internet. In the past though I never got myself a credit card because I was afraid of getting buried with debts.when I started working online, I then found out that there are things (like webhosting, software, etc etc) that I needed to buy on the internet-- and the only way I could pay for them was in the form of a credit card. So around three months ago I got one. last January I got my first credit card bill. And I think the charges werent that bad. for example, I bought $35 dollars worth of sofware and I was charged less than $2 dollars--(unless of course I should be charged lower than that----what do you think?) I have been thinking of using the card more often--especially when I travel out of town, but it seems atm machines are always everywhere nowadays so I always end up withdrawing cash from them. Or I also end up using my atm cards to pay for items I intend to buy. how about you which do you prefer to use cash or credit?

I have a credit card on which I earn points towards free groceries, kitchen/housewares etc. lately, I have been using that card more and more just like it was a debit card and then paying it off when I get home. It ends up saving me money on bank fees to use my debit card, and I have been earning a ton of points this way. I was scared about having a credit card at first too, but you just have to be responsible with it and you are fine. I think that it also helps that I am afraid to be poor/in debt.

I still use cash for everything I buy. I haven't bought anything off the internet and don't plan to anytime soon. I don't believe in credit cards because I know that I would spend way to much money on stuff I don't need. I have also used the visa debit card my bank gave me when I opened my checking account, but once again, not for anything on the internet.

I practically live on my debit cards. When my social security check comes in on the first of the month most of it goes into one of them. If I had the cash on me it would be gone in a week. This way it lasts a lot longer. Plus my online earnings go into debit cards so it's extra money for me.
