What scares you?

I'm afraid of a lot of stuffs (yeah i know i'm old! lol).. I can't really stand total darkness, Lizards and frogs makes me scream, I can't watch horror flicks (otherwise, i'll have nightmares for months!).. some are petty,others are valid.. but it all still make good stories and a good laugh even when you think about it (well, except for total darkness! :P )

What scares me most these days is the loss of freedom in my country. I don't feel that those in power represent me or my interests at all. I hope my fear is misplaced, but every day watching the news confirms for me that our freedoms are something that will soon be a distant memory.

It's really sad how some people are so bigoted, selfish and so hungry for power that they will do everything it takes to get what they want. I hope the condition of your country doesn't worsen...
