Last night, one of our bed posts got broken and my 5-year old kid casually and spontaneously said, "Putik, nasira na yun kama natin!" (S*&*&B^$@#@! Now our bed is ruined!" -- Putik means mud but since the tagalog version rhymes with the original swear word, a lot of people actually uses this as an "alternative"). I thought I heard her wrong so I asked her again what she said and she repeated it...

Nope. Unfortunately I don't. I think I should but most of the time. I'm too lazy to get up my chair and get a glass of water... I really ought to change!:(

That's obsession dear! hehe kidding. I can relate actually. I "should" always have a hanky especially since I have allergic rhinitis. I don't sleep with it though! hehehe -- Come to think of it, you remind me of Linus, brother of Lucy in Peanuts!:)

I know what you mean. A lot of people says I look better with my contacts rather than my old glasses, so even though it's a bit of a pain to remember lubricating them every now and then, I still use it most of the time. I still use my glasses though. But only at night or as soon as I open my pc at home.:) Thanks for sharing.:)

Exactly. There are just too much extraneous variables to "filter." I reckon all we can really do is make them understand/realize which to take and which to just ignore. Thanks for the reply.:)

It is embarrassing really but it's a fact of life I suppose. People swear, we get pissed off, we say and do a lot of stuffs we really shouldn't be doing. I don't want to encourage my daughter so I think right now, all I can do is guide her and let her realize that there are other ways to express ourselves. Thanks for the reply.:)
