a mile wide F4 tornado ripped through Arkansas last night, destroying my dear friend's home. They made it into the basement just in time to hear the upstairs being tossed about. Thankfully all people were safe and amazingly all the outdoor animals returned safely this morning. Also all the statues of Our Lady were unharmed.

Well thank the Lord they are all ok. We had a tornado here about a month ago. This weather has been absolutely crazy lately. I am sorry for your friend losing her home, but extremely happy they were able to get to safety in time.

this is a picture of the trailer of the friends who were camping out on her property - they lost everything, but I love Old Glory still waving triumphantly.

Oh my goodness Modestah, I am so thankful that your freind's were not harmed. It is amazing how animals find their way home. From what I have heard a line of tornados caused damange in several states last night. I am keeping all the families affected by the tornados in my prayers. I know that you will stand by your friend and do all that you can to help.

we were imagining that the horses (miniatures) were going to be found all mangled. animals instincts must be amazing! where they all went to I wish I knew - 3 dogs, all but one chicken, a cat and the horses were gone and now returned home.

Modestah, I am so glad all is well with your friend and that they are safe and alive. I live in Tennessee and let me tell you last night was an awful scary night. Tornadoes ripped across our state as well, we have fatalities, and damage is wide spread. Sometimes mother nature has to show her angry head.

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend's home, but certainly am glad they're okay. It's been a horrible weather 24 hours or so for a lot of people. We live in Arkansas and are very thankful the bad weather passed us by without doing any real damage.
