Hi friends, Got this in my mail-box today. Found it interesting and wanted to share with all. ------------------------------------------------------ Five things are happening in your house at the same time. In which sequence would you solve them? 1. The telephone is ringing! 2. The baby is crying! 3. Someone's knocking or calling you from the front door! 4. You hung the clothes out to dry and it is beginning to rain! 5. You left the tap on in the kitchen and the water is already overflowing! In which sequence would you solve these problems? Write the sequence and Check below how your decisions were made. BUT BE HONEST, THE FINDINGS ARE EXCITING. First write YOUR sequence from 1 to 5 then scroll below and read after! Answer: Every individual point represents something in your life. On the list you can see which meaning every point has: 1. Telephone represents Work 2. Baby represents Family 3. Door represents Friends 4. Clothes represent Money 5. Tap represents Love Life Your chosen sequence determines the priorities in your life. ------------------------------------------------------ OK now, I didn’t cheat and my responses were: 1. I would switch off the tap coz I like to prevent wastage (while shouting at the top of my voice to whosoever is there at the door to wait a while) 2. I would go to baby to see what’s wrong and pick up baby and go to phone 3. I would answer the phone (and since its cordless, i would hold it to the ear and go to the door) 4. I would answer the doorbell 5. I would pick up the clothes (if it has started raining, the clothes are already semi-wet by now. anyway I can re-dry them later) how would you do things and why?

Ok...here goes.... 1. I'll pick baby up first 2. Answer the phone and ask them to hold or that I'll call them back. 3. Check who's at the door and ask them to wait. 4. Close the tap. 5. Check how wet the clothes are and if they aren't too wet, get them or else leave them as it is.

oops...I forgot to mention all the why's! 1. When too many things are happening, that's what I do. If I pick the baby up, baby stops crying, I can't function with the crying baby in the background. 2. Don't know who it is on the phone or if it is important. Need to check who it is that is on the other end. 3. With all the noise person at door would have figured out someone is home and would have waited. Once I know who it is, I will ask them to wait while I finish the rest of the work. 4. Already wasted water, why waste some more. But actually this depends on where I am standing when I start everything...if I am closer to the tap I would have closed it first. 5. That's self explanatory.

I would take care of the following problems in the order: #5, #4, #3, #2, #1. I solved them in that order because I think that it's so easy to turn off the tap and it would only take a second, then the next important thing is to get the clothes inside the house because leaving them any longer would mean wasting the effort of having them washed, then I would answer the door before taking care of the baby because a baby cries all the time and once I've answered the door I can take care of a guest while trying to make the baby calm down (but at least my guest will already be inside the house), lastly I would answer the phone - I don't think too much of phone calls because if I am really needed then they would be on my doorstep and not on the phone. That means Love - Money - Friends - Family - Work I don't think I quite agree with this LOL. I always put my family before friends and before work although I think it's normal for me to prioritize Money because of the current social conditions of having difficult standards of living. Thanks for the response on my discussion!

Hi, Hmm... here goes my answer.. 1) I will first go to the baby. 2) Then i will check the door.3) I will check the tap and close it as i dont like to waste enery as well. 4) Then the telephone.. iam not fond of phones. 5) Then the clothes. Iam very sad to know that the clothes represent ' money' lol. Nice discussion . People shd really try this one. Cheers, Tutul

Hanakimi priorities in life - hanakimi characters chooses their path
hi sudipta! ^__^ wow. i didn't know this was Sigmund Freud's psychological test. this was like, a joke back when we were in college. LOL only the difference is on number 5, it wasn't an open faucet but it was something cooking in the stove that was going to be overcooked. ^__^;; if i can remember it correctly, my number one was the baby crying, next would be the food being cooked in the stove, third would be the door, fourth would be the phone and the last would be the clothes. i can't let the baby turn blue from crying, the food would be a waste when left to be burned, the person in the door can wait while i get the baby and turn off the stove and then i can let the person in and make him wait for a while i answer the phone. and then, there would always be lots of time for the clothes to dry. ^__^

You hung the clothes out to dry and it is beginning to rain! OMG! So it means that my priority is my lovelife rather than work and family?hehehe

i have no idea the correct answer but doubt it is anything less than mine!! 1...5...tap needs turned off, no problem! 2...2...take care of the human baby after turning of the tap! 3...4...it's raining, get the clothes in! 4...3...who cares who's at the door! 5...1...big deal! money never represents your family unless you let it!!
