I am reading a book called "A Slice of Heaven" by Sherryl Woods. It is the second in a series about three women who have been friends since childhood. In this book one of the daughters is dealing with anorexia. The book is really great. I stayed up WAY too long last night reading!

I will always read and re-read Bryce Courtenay, Anne Rice/Rampling and Stephen King! I'm sure there are more, just been a while since I read anything not written by these authors!

My brother used to love Terry Brooks. I could never get into fantasy, so I've never given it a try. Maybe I will now that I'm learning to expand my horizons.

I have To Kill a Mockingbird on my shelf waiting to re-read it. I remember enjoying it when we had to read it in High School, but I'm curious how differently I will see it now as an adult with more life experience.

You'll want to get the first book, too. It is called "Stealing Home". The books can be read out of order, but I think there is just a little bit of history in the first book that makes sense to read first. Of course, then you'll want to get the third book just so you can finish the trilogy! :) I haven't read that one yet, but I have it on hold at my local library.

That book is on my To Be Read list. What do you think of it? Have you read P.S. I Love You by the same author? Oh, I LOVED that book! I am going to go see the movie next week at the discount theatre.

The first book in the series is called "Stealing Home". It was great. By the way, the author's name is spelled a little strange so be aware if you are looking for her. It is Sherryl Woods. Maybe it is not strange... I just haven't seen it spelled like that before.

Today I read a bit of systematic treatment of theology by Stanley Grenz, the late Canadian theologian. I was reading on Church and it was refreshing to read through the book.

I'm reading "Labyrinth" by Kate Mosse. I've heard a lot about it in the last couple of years and finally decided to give it a try. It's pretty good - not brilliant, but definitely an enjoyable read.

I've been reading a book written by my fellow Filipino and it's really funny but at the same time, very applicable in our country's situation...It's written in our vernacular language...I also read the latest issue of Reader's Digest and I was really happy because when we bought it,there was a free 2008 planner!LOL!

I am reading Flags of our Fathers and it is very good. My hubby was a Marine and it tells me a lot about why he is the way he is. It is very easy to read even though it is about history.
