Tubal Litigation Regret

February 11, 2008 6:02am CST
Okay I'm one of the ladies who regret it with everything they have. I'm currently saving (verrryyy slowly lol) to get it reversed. What I want to know however is how many women actually regret having it done in the first place and how many women are praying it fails. If you do regret it I can PM you a link to a regret support group that I belong to if you are interested. They are great women and know just how women who regret their tubals feel.I would post the link lol but I don't have 500 posts yet XD Anyways, back on topic, Do you regret it? do you spend each month praying it fails only to be gutted when it doesn't? are you going to get it reversed?

I've had my tubal litigation done when my second was born...but that was because we can't afford to have more kids (though I'd love to have many more). We are considering adopting a girl IF finances get better. I'm still not sure how I feel about the tubal litigation.....on and off I regret it. In fact, I thought I was pregnant two weeks back (that wasn't the case) and was quite happy it failed. Even when I was asked to sign the papers during surgery, I had second thoughts but everything was too quick...I had it along with the C-section.

WOW!! its been over 12 years sinc mine and it wont ever fail sadlY! lol lol i had my done after my second child with my First husband - who was very abusive, so i DID NOT want anymore with him AT ALL!! I tryed the 4 times a year shots after my first to NOT HAVE MY MORE and GEE got pregnant with my second! ( i LOVE HER more than life - them both!) but im goal was to NOT have anymore kids with this man!! I only regret it now because i have the MOST wonderful man now- my best friend from School ( we go that far back!) LOL AND Id love to have another! went to see my Dr that did the procedure and it cost $10,000 to reverse OR wait to see if it *wears thin* or *fails* and like i said its been 12 years no way its going to happen now :( my periods have been on time ALL the time - darn it! lol i want to get it reversed but to costly and insurance doesnt cover any of it! :( *I think when wemon want to reverse it, especially couples without ones of thier own *together* insurance should allow this - wishful thinking lol I dont feel i need a support group tho lol it sounds like a great idea for those that are haveing a hard time dealing with this tho wonderful availability! :)
