In some business negotiation if you says no, So peoples think "No" means not enough money. When you say "NO THANKYOU", They will throw more money at you and say is that enough? Would you feel cheap in such situation?

I vote this one the best discussion of the week. What a concept! Nobody ever threw money at me, so I could only speculate! I do not think I would feel cheap at all, even if I accepted the money because I could always give it back in some way. However, I do wish to make a distinction between honest money and dishonest money. If it were dirty money then I wouldn't accept it no matter what, so I would not feel cheap, but I might feel insulted that the person thought I was somebody capable of being bought off.

hi slickcut, lets understand it in this way, suppose we are negotiating on price of some thing material, you are the seller and asking cost which is much more than my expectation, than I will try to pay lesser amount than you Reply "No". Than I become angry and increase the amount little bit and throw at you with an anger by saying "is that enough". Dont you feel cheap or bad? I realy feel insulted or cheap if someone do this to me.

it has never happened to me but yes I think I would be, somethings can not be bought for money at least to me. My principles can never be bought for money for example

I'm with you guys. If anyone ever throws money at me, I'll be too busy picking it up to feel cheap. If, for some almost inconceivable reason, I should turn down money, I would hope to high heaven the thrower would throw more! The real question is: "Do people feel cheap who don't come back with a higher offer after being turned down?"

I wouldn't feel cheap in a situation like this. Maybe them offering more money might change my mind and accept the deal. If I really didn't want to do the deal I would flat out refuse and say "No, I don't want to do the deal, no matter how much money you offer." or something like that.
