Just read a story on AOL and it is so sad. I can't imagine this happening to the bride. My heart goes out to the new husband and her family. A happy event that turned to tragedy. I've never been to a wedding where there was an emergency, have you? http://news.aol.com/story/_a/bride-dies-during-couples-first-dance/20080210191909990001?ncid=NWS00010000000001

That would be quite shocking! Everyone gathered to have fun and celebrate the wedding and to have it end so tragically! It would be really terrible.

It would be a major nightmare. I felt so bad for this family after reading the article. Thanks for responding.

My great aunt had a stroke at my cousins wedding. I remember everyone was lined up to catch the bouquet and all of a sudden my aunt collapsed on the floor. One of the other women said she was just trying to get the bride to come over with the bouquet in her hands so my aunt could steal it. Thanks heavens another woman standing there bent down to see if she was Ok.

I read that this morning also and it just broke my heart. No, I have never been to a wedding where there was any emergency and I sure hope I never am.

You and me both. I'd go into a panic attack if it was someone I knew. Ok so now I am thinking selfish and wondering if she had things in order and her husband as the beneficiary. Oh that's bad but it's reality. This is such a very sad story. We have a daughter the same age. Thanks for responding.
