Do you think the shaq trade to the suns improved or hurt them?

Honestly I think it helped the suns. They have lost to the spurs the last 2 playoffs that I know of. This could get them past the spurs but also the lakers improved with gasol now.

Shaq can definitely be of help to the Suns or in any other team in the NBA because of its large size, post presence and defensive prowess. Even though he doesn't score that much anymore, he can still be a great team asset most especially in the playoffs. That is if he'll be healthy. The Suns really gambled on this one. But I think they did the right choice because they aren't going anywhere going again to the playoffs with the same roster against all the hungry and powerhouse teams in the West. The Lakers is definitely a powerhouse in the West now with Gasol's addition and even more when Andrew Bynum returns in the line-up. It is gonna be one tight playoffs in the West. The Suns have a pretty good chance if Shaq continues to be healthy even though he slows down the pace of the Suns. That's what I have observed when Shaq came. The Suns aren't that fast anymore with transition. But there are also times wherein Shaq can run and score the basket which is a good thing. As what he have told the press: "There team is still in the "getting-to-know" stage and when they get close, they'll be one dangerous team." Hopefully, they'll have a good playoff run. Go Suns Go Lakers
