How much do you have left over? We ran out in under an hour.

I gave some out to a few kids who live in our apartment house before I met my own friends elsewhere. I bought one bag and in the end before I left, I gave the rest of the bag to the last kid.

I bought 120 bags of potato chips to hand out this year. When they are gone, they are gone! I never have leftovers but if I do, I can put them in cold lunches for the kids!

That's a clever idea. I think we thought about doing something like that last year but realized candy was much cheaper.

It's the middle of November and we still have a lot of candy.

I always buy the kind we would eat ourselves so if we are stuck wth it we eat and not toss it. This year, I'm givng out candy my kds brought home from the church Fall Festival Saturday. They were really generous.

That was our strategy too because we thought we would have a lot left over. But it was a steady stream of children and I ended up running around the kitchen looking for more treats to hand out before quitting early.
