I use whatever is available. Brown sugar is more sweeter so I would use less of it compared to the white sugar. ^_^

I agree that brown sugar are better because the nutrients and sugar property are still intact compared to white sugar that are so refined. Some even say that the darker the sugar, the better. The problem with brown sugar is, the more you put in a dish, the sour it gets. That's why my mom would add white sugar when cooking rice cakes if the brown sugar she added is not enough.

I use both brown and white sugar. I use brown sugar mostly for baking and things like that. Brown sugar on oatmeal is wonderful too.

Hi marketing, It is true that brown sugar is better for you. White sugar has been refined so much that nothing of value is lest in it. Blessings.

I only ever use brown sugar in baking. I have never used brown sugar in place of white because I think it is too sweet. And I use a sugar substitute like Splenda in my coffee and teas.

I use both but I consume brown sugar more than the other. I normally I use white sugar to sweeten beverage as it does not affect the original taste of the drink. Other than that I prefer to use brown sugar as it contains various nutrients.

We used brown sugar at home, at will always prefer brown sugar because it cheaper than white sugar aside from the fact that is more good than white sugar. Brown sugar has lower caloric value by weight compared to brown sugar.
