Fortunately, I love the rain since I live in Fl. where it can rain for days on end. I read a lot, and crochet, and work with the disabled helping them with their paperwork. I sit outside under cover and write. I drive down to the ocean and watch the waterspouts form. When the rain stops I walk on the beach. No one is out, and it is like it was when I was a kid...empty...lovely. Shalom~Adoniah

yes i do not mind the rain in small doses, they make for really good lazy days, but when it has been raining for weeks, its hard to keep the natives calm(my children).i am glad you love the rain and do what you like doing.cheers sue

Rain or snow, either one makes me go into cocooning mode. I want to stay home, snuggle up with a book and hot tea. I'd love some new Dvds but have to be really motivated to get out and rent them. I do the bare minimum errands and might stop on the way home if I'm out anyway...I stock up on as many library books as I can possibly carry and go to the grocery store and buy snacks along with lots of ingredients for made from scratch because if I'm bored I'll cook up a storm. It is hard to believe that we live in the same country and you are complaining of rain. lol BUT I must say the old saying "when it rains, it pours" certainly has proven itself in some areas. We are still in drought mode here, harsh water restrictions, (which most of us have adapted to now) BUT your idea of catching up on housework sounds like the way to go! eeek!

yes i know we live in the same country and we have been in drought mode also.but if it just rained and was not torrential and flooding occurs it would be great.at least in the last few weeks our dam has doubled from this time last year, which is a bonus.it seems we go from one extreme to the other,i just wish it would balance out a little better.but the thought of catching up on housework is a bit scary lol.today is sunny believe it or not, time to run the towels out to the line.cheers sue

When it rains, we get connected to the sky. While rain is needed to keep the land greenish, continuous rains do hamper movements. Let us enjoy the nature naturally.

Raining is one of those reason for me to be just plain lazy around the house... the temperature is cool... so i just want to lie in bed and sleep a day long... which is quite impossible since i have a baby to take care of... i did the lazy thing when i was still single... So... everytime it rains non stop... we just watch dvd's and tv... eat lots of warm soup... and sleep if my baby feels like sleeping... then when we get tired of doing those things... rain can never stop us from going to the mall and just walk around until we get tired...

Today, sun turn up, however, the weather is also very low. I hope summer comming soon. I don't like the winter, because it let me lazy, don't want to go out to meet friends. What do you think? I also do not like rain, it brings many problems to go out.
