That is time, not only human who can travel around the world, but, time as well and it knows how to 'framed' our travel and the chronology. Huh!!!....back to work again??? Actually what is the linear distance from Ganzhou to Hangzhou in kilometer? As you mentioned, it will takes you 12 hours traveling by train from Ganzhou to Hangzhou, on calculation and let say that train travels at average speed of 80 kilometer per hour; = 12 hours X 80 km/hr = 960 km. Dearest William, I am glad that you had a great time in your home town celebrating the spring festival. Nothing like just being you, with your family and in your home town. William, I really envy you. You can afford to take long leaves being a teacher. I think, it comes without even being asked! But we just have to manage with a week at the most. Lucky you!! I do miss a real long vacation. I have so many plans to make different trips to distant parts of India. Do not know when I can actually get to enjoy myself. And regarding adjustment after a vacation, its real hard to cope with real day-to-day world. After my week long vacation last time took me days to adjust and I can understand your plight William. But, I am sure you will get to adjust soon. Have a great life ahead.

Time really flies. My vacation of Chinese New Year is over as well. It's really enjoyable to have my 5 days vacation at home with my family. During student time, it's normal to have 1 to 3 months holiday and it's so sweet, especially after embarking on my working life, it's really hard to apply for vacation leave. Usually the longest vacation leave that could be approved by my superior is only 2 weeks. The 2nd longest rest days I got last time was the time I got infected by 'chicken pox' LoL. I was having almost 3 weeks rest during that time. I played games everyday at home. Actually my chicken pox was not severe but in order to prevent it from spreading the disease to other, I was advised by doctor to rest at home. I read news about the heavy snow fall in China causing difficulties for the past few weeks and feel sorry about it. Hope you are not impacted badly by the subtle weather change. It's time for us to preserve the environment to prevent more natural disaster caused by human activity in the world.

Hi my dear friend, it is true for the Chinese saying: there is no such gathering of dinner that will never come to an end. Happy moment does fly swiftly without being conscious. Since you had cherished your happy hours with your beloved family, you shouldn’t have any regret over what had passed. There are bound to have ups and downs in life, so do happiness and sadness. Hi jisir, I am quite relieved to learn that you could be able to go back to your working site without being stranded as most of the people had suffered in the snow disaster recently. Anyhow, 12 hours journey traveled with seat ticket could never beat you down, what more for a tough guy like you. Of course, it is nice to travel in a berth where you could have a comfortable rest and sleep. This wouldn’t make the journey too tedious and boring. It is always difficult for us to accustom ourselves to the working days after a long holiday. Anyway, once we have started to work, then we will find no problem to proceed on, as complied with the principal of inertia. Of course, we have to suffer a few days at the beginning to adjust ourselves to another environment. For me, my intensive working days had over, and now I enjoy my work in a more relaxed manner. I will start my new part time job in the early March in a new environment. At present, my husband and I are having our vacation in my son’s place, an island in another state. By the way, I am sure, with mylot as your intimate companion after your working hour, you will find times pass very fast. I believe, very soon, July the 5th will be waiting at your doorstep. hi william! ^__^ so your vacation is over huh? i still can remember how i felt when our vacation was coming to an end. i dreaded the day of going back to work! ^__^;; i was so anxious and i was feeling lazy. i just spent my vacation at home with my family and with the computer. LOL i also had fun relaxing and absolutely doing nothing but have fun. i think it took me a week to really got me going again. i mean, the day i got back to work, i still had the hang-over from the vacation and i was lazy at the office and it took me a week to get over the hang-over and finally got the spirit of working hard. ^__^;;

I don't have such long vacation like you. I wish I were a teacher, too:) It is a tiring trip and I hope you will have a safe and sound trip. I know it won't feel well to sit on the train for such a long time when it is so crowded. I have no idea about the temperature there, I don't know whether it is still very cold and whether the electricity is available now. I know you had a hibernation in this winter vacation:) I had a peaceful Chinese New Year vacation. It is very common. We have a good meal everyday and visit each other. At night, we would sit together and my dad started to have his speech:)

Dear Williamjisir, It is nice to be back from vacation back to work. It is said that everyone should have a few days off from the work to relax with the family in a new place or home town which is away from workplace. This will in fact help rejuvinate the body and mind. Teaching is a noblest of all professions and you are endowed with the virtue. Wishing you a safe journey my dear friend, I have just come back from a long weekend away at my beloved retreat, and the day before I was due to return home I booked up our next holiday away in April and again for 10 days in August, it gives me something to look forward to, especially in these cold months. The time away goes far too quickly! I go down to the retreat by the sea to be with my special friends who are very close to me. Take care x

Thnk your lucky stars that you are a teacher and get such long holidays twice or thrice a year. Spare a thought for us mere mortals who work at an office desk and have to apply in advance for maybe two weeks' leave and then the HRD will haggle and bargain and chop it down to 10 days at the most.But yes, i understand what you are saying. since childhood and even today, whenever I am returning from vacation I always start praying fervently for the train to be late so that i can enjoy my 'vacation' maybe for a few hours more lol! very childish i know and even the train knows that...it has never run late with me on it.

Hello there, if you didn’t mention the vacation, I have already forgotten as many people (include me) have started workings since 02 January onwards except 2 days official days off. ? You are the lucky one just finish a long vacation…and I believe you have made the most of it and had a great time with your relatives and friends. For me, I enjoy going back to work after the vacation as I feel everything is fresh; obviously I would miss the good time I had for the vacation. So I think you must miss all of your lovely students as well; it is about time to see them, right?

welcome back william,.for me having a long vacation is enjoyable but the problem is as if i dont want to work again..goodluck to your job,,its very tiring job but rewarding.
