Inflammatory Breast Cancer: New type of fatal cancer often misdiagnosed

A friend told me that this not well known even to some doctors. The symptoms include inflammation and/or discoloration. It's often misdiagnosed as a mere infection, so doctors either give anti-biotics or tell patients to wait 6 months for it to go away. Since there ar no lumps, it's not detectable through self-examination nor mammograms. It can only be detected through biopsy or MRI. If left untreated, the patient will die. Has anyone heard of this before?

This is something new, what are the things to know except from inflamation and discoloration. Does one experience pain or itchiness perhaps. It is the first time I heard things about this cancer.
