I don't know why the opposition cannot wait for the next election which will happen in 2010. They all want to replace the current president at all cost. I hope that they will do what is beneficial for Philippines and stop politicking. Senate- useless Congress- somehow useful Hope Philippines will prosper now and hope those future killers of the Filipinos will perish.

I think there is an obvious reason behind that. The people can feel that there is gross manipulation to hide something from the rest of us to know the truth. I don't think its not only the opposition who could feel and sense the mistakes and the manipulation that the people in Malacanang is doing. I don't think if the opposition could not sniff something tangible they would not badge a thing.

That is true.... It depends who controls the power. We the people could only choose the lesser evil between them.

I agree. It only means that there is really no hope for Philippines to progress because everyone wants to make money when they are on the seats.

Yeah I agree but I always wonder why the corrupt people from the government, investigate the corruption? Hehe. The senate is corrupt, the congress is corrupt yet they are the ones investigating it? It is like a corrupt investigating a corrupt?

maybe they can unite but because of selfishness and wanting only for their personal interest...that is why our politics seems to be worst...they have their own personal interest...they want to over power...they want the position for them to be known and imposed their own laws...i don't mind all politicians...they are corrupt although some are real but later on they will learn to corrupt and received kickback..at first their intention is good but later on no good intention anymore...they are fake..

I 100% agree with you. So far, Philippines Politics is a circus and a milking cow for those who are in the government. Who knows 10 years from now, we are still a mess.

Each and every Filipino definitely wants to live in a country that is prosperous and economomically stable. This of course can't be achieved unless our leaders know how to unite and work on what would be best for the country. Unfortunately, there is too much politicking.... from the executive level to the legislative level and of course in the judiciary. Truth is, our government needs an overhaul -- a big time overhaul.

I always wonder why these losers from the opposition are eager to replace President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo? I hope things change in the Philippines. Hope that this country will become one of the best livable country in the world. I am still crossing my fingers. God bless Philippines! God bless Cebu!

Just one word for that- GREED. The opposition is just too greedy to grab power that it would go to ALL costs just to get it. Like harvesting lies in the form of a scumbag named Jun Lozada. I think they are just getting too desperate, but the great thing is- President Arroyo will not succumb to the pressure. I think that the useless senate hearings are to blame for our slow progress are present.
