I'm heading out on vacation soon, for the sunny south and wanted to know some packing tips? Anyone have any ideas for me to stuff as much as possibly can in that suitcase!?

Roll your clothes instead of folding. They take up less space. And surprisingly will not be that wrinkled. Hmmm take tiny clothes! Lightweight ones. See what your hotel has (a lot already have hair dryers and such) so that you don't take things you won't need.) Buy a bag when you are there and pack your souveniers in it. We did this for Hawaii. My husband only took one suitcase. So we could buy another. Hope this helped. B

In a hot climate clothes that are washed dry quickly so I suggest taking swim wear, shorts and light cotton tops. Try taking a small bottle of travel washing liquid. I have a travel washing line that is light and takes up hardly any room with my packing. I have a travel towel that is small, dries me quickly and packs up tiny. I take suncream, sunglasses and sun hat with me. I have a bag that has small bottles of shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, contact lenses and a tiny mirror. I wear one pair of shoes and take a light pair of sandals with me. When packing I roll my clothes up and pack the heavier things at the bottom. I always leave space for gifts and souvenirs. Have a fantastic vacation.

if you are coming to GA, FL, AL, MS, or LA....plan for it to be in the 30's F at night and up to about 70 F during the day...I had frost on my truck yesterday morning when I left for work and that afternoon when I went to lunch, I had to turn on the Air Conditioner in my truck on the way to the restaurant

I find it best only to take the bare essentials with you. Since you're going to be in a new place, chances are you'll wanna buy new clothes you can't find at home, and the more empty space in your bag, the better. Check the weather forecast so you won't be unpleasantly surprised. Enjoy the holiday.
