the pros and cons of blu-ray

I have a Blu-ray drive in my laptop, and the quality of the image is superb. Another plus is the vast storage space offered compared to other recordable media. The obvious downside is the formidable cost of blank disks, which despite their size does not reflect good value at present. Of course the technology is still young and things could easy change in a relatively short time. We all know the horrific cost of a VHS player when they first introduced or the high cost of early DVD players.
