It's a fact that today teachers are not teaching as good as per the requirements .Students do not understand many of the subjects. As a result we go to institutes and tutors, with parents spending so much money and yet, we are just able to pass.our parents and we too, are depressed, frustrated. Have you ever experienced this? Send in ypur responses and experiences to how can we improve this helpless situation.

You cannot simply blame the teachers, there are so many other attributes also to the fact that students not understanding the subjects. Being a teacher myself I always put in my maximum effort to help the kids learn and give them so much of my time to help them out too. But only a few of them are interested in learning what is being taught. Televisions and other entertainments distract today's kids so much and also when both the parents are working, the quality time spent with the kids have also gone down and when the kids feel lonely they dont feel like studying. All the kids have the capacity to learn when they listen and read again what is given in their lessons, and if a student is unable to then he have to go to the teacher to get help and it is a real question why the student have go to some institute to learn the lessons. Pls stop blaming the teachers. If the students are concentrating enough in the class they will definitely be able to learn atleast something and if there is any doubt they could clarify it then and there in the class room. The only way to improve the situation is the students should concentrate what the teacher is teaching in the class.

there are some teachers today who do not each properly.the best way of teaching nowadays is the teacher should give everyone a chance to answer questions in the class. The should also provide notes so that students can study them for exams. For subjects like maths they should give similar problems for homework.

One thing we have to consider is the training that the teacher have had prior to teaching. Another would be the relevant experience. I know of some people who teach a particular subject but their background is very much different from that. This can affect the efficiency of the teacher. Another thing to consider is the environment. There are so many things around us that makes teaching and studying less effective. I believe that the school has to make sure that the curriculum they offer meets industry standards. Together with this, they have to make sure that they are hiring the people who are fit for the job. Finally, students also have to do their share and not solely depend on what the school and / or the teacher can offer.

Yes, i believe it's true. teachers now a days are not that effective in teaching especially the newly graduates. I don't know the factors why teachers nowadays are ineffective. Maybe it is the result of the ineffectiveness of their teachers also. The negative effect of technologies (teachers tend to rely on internet research instead of giving students other source of research or explaining to the students directly)

In my own opinion and base on my observation, I don't think it is true all the time. There are teachers who teach just for the sake of earning money, and didn't put extra effort for his/her students to learn. There are some also who abused schools which is not strict in monitoring every teachers. Other teachers especially those science and home economics teachers become ineffective with there teaching because of lack of needed educational materials and equipment to use in teaching. But during my college years, I have teachers who help us learn our lessons well, they implemented make up classes if ever for some reason, class will be suspended. They will also schedule for make-up classes if we have difficulties in our subject. They will give us a lot of examples until we understand. Sometimes the problem is not the teachers teaching performance but the teachers behavior towards studying.
