Do people share your sense of humour? Or do you get frustrated when they dont see the funny side? Do you give up on people who are too serious?

People who are too serious are usually miserable, unhappy complainers and I quickly get tired of being around them. I have a pretty good sense of humor, but I bomb sometimes like everyone else. I call it a quick wit.

Not all share my sense of humor, as it is rather dry. Pretty much everyone around me knows it and laughs at me. But the one who is soooo serious is my spouse. To him I'm being a smart***. After 14 yrs he still doesn't get me and it get's so frustrating.

I have a wild, wicked and sometimes weird sense of humour, my sense of humour is my saving grace and it has kept me sane. Life is far too serious and I love having a laugh and most of my friends on Mylot who know me well enough by now know that I like a laugh, making them laugh and like to bring a bit of light hearted humour in my discussions. However I did upset someone who thought I was laughing at them, well that is far from the truth, I would never laugh at someone, I found their discussion highly amusing, sadly they didn't see the funny side and I've obviously offended them, well I am not stopping the way I am just because I have offended someone, get over it please know what I mean!

We all share the same crazy sense of humor around here... a bit risque, with some satire and groaners thrown in... and we all get it, thats what makes it so great! There's a lot of laughing in this family, and that includes people who weren't exactly born into it... We love 'em all, goof with them all, and accept them all!!

i tend to adjust my sense of humour to those of the people around me. Those that are way too serious, I remember them and stay clear because they can drag my day down.
