Imagine if you would that you were transported back to April 15th, 1912 and you found yourself on the Titanic, setting off from Southampton. Now you are on the boat and there is NO way off it, you cannot transport again. But you know the beautiful liner is going to sink How do you stop it? You have to convince the captain to slow down or to watch out for the iceberg, but how do you convince them? They might think your crazy and have you locked up in the brig? What are you going to do to stop the boat sinking Rally around support from other people for your cause? Remember time is running out Your mission is to try and convince the captain to stop the Titanic from sinking, because you are on the boat and when the boat goes down you go down with it! No wrong or right answers I am interested to hear what your responses are and I know you have good imaginations

well I would call a meeting and tell the passengers and crew I had done some research and it appeared that if we carried on in the direction we were travelling we would be entering an area of water that had strange and mystical powers, and that many before us had travelled this route and had never been seen again. Ships had disapeared, wreckage had been found with no accounts from anyone what had happened and roumer had it that creatures would raise out of the water and lives would be taken. I would ask the captain if he would feel safe continuing on the journey and if he was prepared to take all the passengers and crews lives in his own hands or should evasive action be taken and detour around the danger area, the consequence would be a little longer on the journey but we would all get to our destination safe and sound. It would be revealed at a later date that this story was true and the captain would be hailed a hero.

Heheh... i think, perhaps i will go to the captain that i will tell all the things that i already saw in movie titanic (maybe he thought i'm crazy), i will looking for the couple in that story also. I will tell them not to pass that way, so they will not pass the iceberg area. I will tell the captain that i came from the future, i will predict everything that will happen. Hehehe... Or better i'll bring my dvd player with me and show how the movie to the captain... maybe he will think that i really come from the future... ahahah its crazy answer for me, but you;re question also really that imagination. I will do that if there's time machine! hahahah... joke

The thing is, I don't think the Titanic can be saved with the resources available then. And because there were not enough lifeboats to start with, the passengers cannot even be evacuated. What I would do is to try convince (or I will just bash him senseless) the Captain of the ship to send a SOS. As least when the inevitable occurs, help will arrive sooner and more people can be saved. I think it is likely for some losses... less, but some of them will still die. As for the rest, I may either force them or cajole them (e.g. in the form of a game - like "Open Skies Party on the Boats) to get on the life boat. As for who "deserves" to get on, this would be a tough choice really. I might even set up a relay race. Everyone gets on the boat and try to "paddle" as far to help as possible. Then when they are saved, their saviors can bring back those lifeboats and continue the cycle. It is not perfect of course. I will attempt to gather the science brains in the ship too to see if we can make makeshift lifeboats from the materials we have on hand. Also, it might be possible to create more DIY lifebuoys. Those stronger will hold on to the buoys while the rest will sit in the boats. I think I will leave Kat and Jack there though. Everyone loves a good story. LOL. I am bad.:P

I guess i would tell them of my amazing psychic powers and let them know that they had to change course etc. Failing that I would call for Dr Who - he would help right? lol Seriously though would I be alone or would you be with me cos it makes things totally different depending on what is true! xxx

I think I need to show them something so that they can believe I am from the future and I clearly know what will happen. Such as I can show them my cellphone and let them understand this stuff is invented from the future. And it won't be so harmful if they listen to me and make a turn to avoid the iceberg.

All things happen for a reason, what if you were able to save titanic and they built 10 more ships the same way,too small propellors, and too small steering rudders, and instead of one titanic the sunk ,a whole fleet sunked one by one?killing the same numder of passengers times 10 ships?bottom line TITANIC was built wrong from the get go!think about that?

I would try to get direct contact with the captain, and tell him. Of course I would be travelling first class, and get the opportunity...tee hee. If that didn't work, I would find a 3rd class passenger who would be willing to jump overboard for a huge sum of money. The ship would naturally have to stop, avoiding the iceburg.

Knowing me Wolfie, I would find my Jack and tell him to never let go. lol. I would try to save it by telling people but i doubt if anyone would listen to me. I might watch for that iceberg and maybe catch it before they caught it/. Maybe give them a few xtra minutes to turn the ship.

Hi, If I happen to know that the ship is going to sink and that I have only few hours to save it, I will talk to few of my friends or other passengers and take them to my side. And then talk to the caption about it and ask him to slow down the ship and be alert of the iceberg. If he says that he cannot do, then you can blackmail him saying that you already informed the passengers and everybody is with you and that if nothing is done, they will take the matter in their hand. This way he cannot think of locking you up. I feel that in order to save his life he will surely slow down the ship and become alert. If they were alert, this accident could have been stopped from happening. Moreover, I would do anything it takes to save life of thousands of innocent people in the ship. I hope that this works..

what i would do is to go and stand in the front of the ship through out my journey so that i could spot the iceberg a touch earlier than the crew. After all titanic only just hit the iceberg so spotting the iceberg a minute earlier would definitely save the ship. I don't find any other way of convincing the captain that the ship will hit an iceberg.

I would try talking to the caption, but chances are he would not believe me. I dont know much about boats but seems that if nobody would believe me, the most logical thing to do would be get rid of the boats fuel. (If feel dumb here.) Do boats run on gas? If so i'd drain the gas. Or sabatoge the engine so we couldn't crash. Will you bail me out when I get arrested? Anybody know a good attorney to defend me at my trial?
