Well here's the info I have on this matter: There is an enzyme in the body called lactase which is present in a large amount at child birth but as we age it decreases. The role of the enzyme is to break another enzyme called lactose which is present in both Cow's and Mother's milk...Once this lactase disappears you become lactose intolerant and the milk does not get digested causing you to vomit or fart or have pains. Hope this helps you...Try the milk which does not have lactose...I'm sure they have that in stores.

I never thought lactose intolerance have late stages? hehehe.. I mean, I have always known several people who have been lactose intolerant since they were little. But yours just happened recently? What did your doctor have to say? Are you sure it's lactose intolerance? maybe it's something deeper that causes your discomfort. Like ulcer or something. =)
