I disagree with you. If Harry had stayed the taliban would have gone after him and it would have put his buddies in more danger than they already were. i for one am glad he was sent home.

I think that just shows our fear of the Taliban.
We have, by removing him from danger, shown the Taliban that they have the power to influence our decisions. I think this is a moral victory for the Taliban and, as such, something we should have avoided at all costs.

I am very fortunate that no members of my Family are in the Military. It would be great if no-one was out there.
However, we face a different reality and we have placed our Armed Forces in danger. Does having Harry present make it any more dangerous - I am not sure that it does.

I hesitated before replying again because you also have a point - wasn't/isn't this a 'peace mission' and not a war?
