Every schools, campus, universities, have its own rules and regulation. Some have particular uniform, some do not... some even allow you to enter with sandals... or wear short pants... Tell me, if those rules and regulation are not required in the school that you enrolled before, what is your choice? Wearing UNIFORM or CIVILIAN??? Why?

Wearing uniform is economical. You only spend for it one time but it requires proper sanitation. Like, you don't wear the same uniform for 2 consecutive days. You have to clean it up but you also have to be careful with it ;so that, it won't be unuseful in a short time.

For me, i prefer uniform, so its easily to identify who is teachers/instructors and the students. Uniform also standardized the clothes in the school, because there will be "social" way of dress... rich students will wear something that "over"... its not good of course.

As a student, I prefers wearing school uniform or having a school uniform because it won't worry me what to wear the next day hehehe.. We do have wash wednesday, it's the only day at the university that we wear civillian and the rest of the days are unform days.

When I was in school I used uniform. And I like that. One looks smart with uniforms :-) But now that you work you won't want uniform. So I prefer civilian now.

from elementary to high school i went to a Catholic school so we were required to wear uniform, except for friday which was a free day so we could wear anything we liked (but still no shorts or sandals). there was no iniform in college so evryone could wear anything they liked, including shorts and sandals. so in the spring and summer when it's warm i would attend classes in shorts and flip flops (sandals). that's what i call freedom! :)

I would prefer to wear the school uniform because it gives you the identity of the school. If you are proud of your school, then why not wear the uniform. Wearing uniform saves your nice civilian clothes and you can wear them during special occasions. Wearing uniforms signify equality in the campus which means all students are governed by the rules and regulations of the school and all should follow.

I have never attended a school that required uniforms. I probably would have liked it though. It gets rid of a lot of problems that come about over clothing and dress codes.
