Boston's Brigham & Women's Hospital is about to start performing face transplants and will be the first U.S. hospital to do so. The hospital said the operation is only for people who have severe facial disfiguration. It was first performed in 2005 for a French woman named Isabelle Dinoire, 38, who underwent the procedure after she was mauled by her Labrador retriever dog. She received a new chin, nose and lips. I think this is a true advancement and a miracle. What do think?

I cannot imagine walking around the rest of my life with a face that had been mauled by a dog, but at the same time I am not sure how I would feel about walking around the rest of my life with someone else's face.

Yeah... me to. I cant imagine have an ugly face caused mauled by a dog, and also have another face for the rest of my life. Maybe i will never look at myself anymore in the mirror, since it seemed that i'm stay in other person's body...

Wow. Um, that's hard to wrap the mind around. I'm guessing the bone structure stays the same, so you probably look much the same as before. Sound vaguely sci-fi, however.
