Yes, I would. A handicapped person is just as human as I am. For all I know, the handicapped person might be even more loving and faithful than a normal, complete and able person is. No one is perfect. I have my own flaws too. For me, the physical aspects of a person don't make up a whole person. Personality, faith, points of view, beliefs, and other qualities that make a person. And if a handicapped person happened to be the person that matched or complemented me, then we would probably have a good and meaningful relationship!

When I met Ronnie Milsap back in 1974, one of the first things I wanted to find out about him was whether or not he was married. He was (and, happily, still is). However, had he said "No." my next question might have been, "Want to join me at Dutch Oven Pies?" In short, yes, I'm open to dating someone with special needs. Of course, the only one I'm open to dating these days is Russell! For anyone who hasn't seen him, here's Ronnie--who's just as sweet as a person as he is talented as a country recording artist... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a30R_drH2GA

As a person with a disability (PWD), I frequently date other PWD's as I'm more comfortable with them. They understand me and often we have similariies that I don't find with able-bodied people.

Why not ? and what capacity do you mean, do you mean husband and wife love or freindly love , family love evt. If its husband and wife love , then it depends if they loved each other before the handicap then true love would keep them togeather, if they met after the handicap then it woud be very one sided since the handicapped one would not be able to respond I take it all then can do it breath , no thinking or communicatin. Love knows no barriers ,atleast the genuine types of love do not.
