I was sad to learn today that on Monday another Qpoc (which means queer youth of color) was murdered by someone he lived with. Apparently, this person had a record of violence and was allowed to remain in the house with the young man anyway. I like Shakespeare a lot but I don't like to just read him on the page. His words seem dead that way. I like to see him as he was meant to be seen. On a stage. I think I've seen every play the man ever wrote, and I love A Midsummer's Night Dream. That's my favorite.

I need extra money mostly to pay off debt or pay for activism. I have a lot of debt from when I was an unemployed activist. I was not allowed to have a job because if I did it would take away my services and supports that allow me to live a complete life--wheelchair or not. I swear the only decent thing George W. Bush ever did for disabled people was to change that law.

Stopping the program because of one cretin is not the answer. Screening process! Screening process! I don't know where these people come from but stopping a program that brings joy to children just because of one guy is not appropriate. Why does he get to ruin Christmas for everyone? I hope they reconsider this.
