Where do you like to read?

i like to read books in my bed.^_^

For me, it depends on what time of day and book it is. If its for school or studying, then I prefer a chair on a desk to concentrate more. But if its for relaxing and bedtime jsut to make me sleepy, in bed with a nice lighting. But in summertime, since my room is somewhat in the attic type and gets so hot and not much air, I like to read in the hammock in the garage under the tree where its breezier. Reading should be relaxing isnt it?

I prefer to read in my bed so that nobody will see me smiling while reading or laughing out loud or most of the time crying because of the content of the book that I'm reading. For me it's the most comfortable place.

For me ,i like to lie to read book on sofa which will be comfortable. however,i would quite environment such as in the libraly.

Yeah,I like read book in a chair ,for in a chair I can put my heart in,but in winters ,it is too cold to stay out ,I always want to read in a bed .At these times ,I will feel tired more easily and want to take a sleep quickly.So,I still prefer to reading in a chair.

i prefer my reckliner or sofa for reading..

I just cannot sit down straight in a chair or sofa and read. I lie down in my bed with two to three soft pillows propped up perfectly and start to read.My favorite position.

Most times, I prefer lying on my bed to read and guess what? I doze off. Pretty funny huh?

Anywhere really. It is the book that counts. I think the lighting is important though since I need to see the words clearly without spoiling my eyes.:)

For me the best place to read is in a chair. Just sit down and relax straight body. In a sofa you tend to lay down and the contour of your body is affected. In the bed you will dull your eyes when reading and you will e tempted to sleep. I usually read sitting dowon in a chair.

It depend very much on the reading materials. If I read academic reading material, I either read it in bed or my study. But if I read the newspaper, toilet is the best place. For the other material I usually read it in bed such as novel and magazine.

ANYWHERE hahaha ... well mostly, on the train on the way to and from work... in my bed just before I sleep, on the sofa, on the chair, in front of the computer, at my work place during breaktime, or even in the toilet during nature calls :P I love reading so much, that I am always reading no matter where it is at.

In bed, so I can sleep whenever my eyes feels so heavy that I can't help myself to sleep, then wake up to read again, then sleep again. I did it several times, its fun =)

I like to read just about anywhere I can - on the bed, the couch, a chair, in the car(when I'm not the one driving of course!)

My favorite place to read is in bed. I read every night to help me go to sleep. My favorite time to read in bed is when the weather outside is stormy and cold. I like to curl up with lots of blankets and read. In the summer time I like to read in the pool. when my husband and I went on our honeymoon the pools had seats built in the sides so people could just sit. We spent a few hours a day sitting in the pool and reading.

I would have to say that I prefer to read on a sofa because I can relax and change from one position to another. Compared to when on a chair, you have limited space to move about, on a bed, you will have the tendency to lie down and that would only ruin your eyes. So I guess that the most suitable furniture to read on would be the sofa.
