i was looking for a work at home data entry job. i thought i found a good one since they all cost money and this one was pretty cheap. I payed the lady $20 and her training materials where apualling. She told me to post classifieds on free classified ads. when people responded i would tell them to pay me $20 and when they did pay tell them to do the exact same thing. kinda like a pyramid scam. im so mad! how can some one have a conscience to completely rip some one off that is desperate for extra cash.......i dont get it!

I'm really sorry for you. I have been where you are believe me. I had the exact same thing happen. It was even for a data entry job as well. I know not to pay for a work at home job, not if it's legitimate. But, I got it off a social networking site and my guard was down. I paid for the training materials, but never received any. I know how you feel. I felt really stupid because I knew not to pay, but I fell right for it. Isn't it amazing how many con artists there are around these days? I don't know about your country, but pyramid scams are illegal here. She could be in a lot of trouble if the law finds out.

I fell for one of those once...It was only $4 then - you sent them the money, they sent me a copied piece of paper & said to make copies of it and mail to people... I thought geez, even if I got people to respond I still wouldn't feel good about it.

It's pretty much a given that if it's a site that makes you pay for information, it's a scam. My parents always told me, if something seems too good to be true, it probably it. I'm sorry that you got ripped off that way, it's an expensive lesson to learn. There are a lot of heartless people out there, looking to take advantage of anyone possible.
