It may be typical, but i can't help myself when it comes to food and fashion. I also buy a lot of books, while my husband spends a lot of money on buying games and computer stuffs. I wonder other people splurge their money on?

I am the same way, spending lots of money on food and clothes. I often find myself comming home from the market with 5 or 6 things that werent on the list, especially when I take my sons with me. I also spend a lot on clothes. I like to look my best and always go for the name brands, also managing in an office I have to look my best. Leading by example, so I have many suits and other dress items which can get pretty costly.

You do sound and look like you always look your best, and i'm guessing you are a bit of a... how should I say? "metrosexual". you know, the david beckham sort of guy. And you seem to be handing down those traits to your sons :) I've noticed that a number of professions do demand some people to always have to look their best... and when it comes to that, i think it's no longer splurging but shopping for necessity.

I splurge on books mostly... novels, classical etc2... :) It is one of my biggest hobby, so I think I do earn the right to splurge on it once in a while :) My boyfriend loves to eat especially bakery thing... so he mostly splurge on them.. or computer stuff as well :)

i love books too... i'm a multi-interest kind of person :) and the good thing about books is that, besides entertaining and relaxing, you can gain plenty of knowledge. books are never a waste of money :)

I splurge on cookies and baked goods, as well as eating out. I also love spending money in bookstores; it's a serious weakness of mine. I tend to spend money on classes and workshops as well to become better at things that are important to me, usually writing and dancing.

i see you have many interests. but, in my opinion, spending money on classes and workshops is not splurging.. it's investing. because you can always use the knowledge you acquired to make more money and spend it some more so it's not really a waste, hahaha...

Defeniatly necklaces! I love necklaces! I have a lot, I can easy find at least one (if not more choices) to go with any outfit that I pick out! It seems I'm always buying new necklaces. And after finding this auction site where you can get really nice ones for really cheap...oh man! I have bought at least 8 from that site! 3 of those were gifts, but 5 were for me! lol

I usually spend a lot on food and household stuff. My husband likes to spend on electrical items and other techie gadgets. We spend on this items but we make sure it is still on the bounds of our budget.
