I was going and looking and there is discussions from way back when. I starting answering one from a year ago. Why do they not delete them after a few months?

I've often wondered the same thing. I would think deleting the older discussions would be a good thing for a site like this. I'm sure it would have something to do with how much information a site can hold but who knows.

Thanks for responding. I would agree I think the site would run much better, that is my opinion anyways.

I always do believe that mylot should delete these old discussions. As these same discussions are almighty come again and again everyday. So better to keep them deleting and keep new discussions alive..

Well if they deleted the discussions that you posted to, you would loose post points, and therefore loose money whenever they delete them. Plus, some people sometimes go back and read your old discussions when they become friends with you and answer them. They can get revived and more and more people can answer them. That doesn't happen often to me, but once in a while i'll see a discussion in my email that i haven't seen in a few months or a year. ;)

I think any discussion here in myLot, once posted, can not be deleted no matter how old the discussion is,except when it violated some rules or was reported by myLot members for being abusive. I guess old discussions would tell the new members who are posting similar discussions that previous similar discussions have already been posted.

And why cant you delete a discussion you started but that never had a response? I'd like to be able to strip out those that are duds and just monitor the live ones. I understand that you can request a post be deleted but it would so much easier if you could just wipe it or edit it if theres been no responses to it.
